well, i'm still alive for those out there who were wondering.

i'm still working at duke. jason and i are moving to durham in the next two weeks. it's weird that i grew up in durham and now i'll be living in durham. although, it is kind of nice to already know my way around town. i auditioned for and made it into the NC Master Chorale with Dr. Sturgis (from NC State) although i've gotten bad recently with movitivation to go to rehearsals. i can't imagine how hard it will be once i live in durham! i really have nothing too interesting going on in my life since last time i posted. my niece turned one year old on april 1st! and my other brother's wife is having a baby boy in august so i will have one of each (one niece, one nephew)! that's exciting! hm...nothing else really going on. i'm kinda sick of my cats. as soon as we get settled in the house, they are becoming indoor/outdoor cats. i think they'll like it. they always seem to want to go outside. plus we won't be next to any really busy streets, which is a good thing. and maybe i won't have to deal with them coughing up nasty hairballs in my bed anymore. well, i guess now i'm just rambling...i hope everyone out there is doing well!! there's my update for the year :) i'm hardly on my computer at home now since i'm on it so much at work. feel free to leave a message saying hey. peace out!

as usual it's been forever since i've posted...glad you're having a good time in indy ncschmoo! and i hope the beach house survived "that whore isabel" ;) not much going on, had a biochemistry test today that i think i did pretty well on. only thing i messed up was the wording of the definitions that were asked for...our professor expects us to know those definitions verbatim which is crazy, especially after she tells us at the beginning of the semester that this class is not about memorization. bullshit. but whatever, it's over with. we have 28 new girls in DG now, pretty cool. i'll probably go to the new member meetings so that i can get to know them better.

went to the game last saturday, tailgated, got a good buzz, then watched nc state give tx tech a nice ass raping! the sun also gave my shoulders a nice ass raping. so they are a little pink and sore. but oh well, i had fun :)

probably gonna go out to champions tonight, couldn't go last week so i think i'm gonna go this week. hopefully laura will want to come too. i guess that's it from the world of me.

ok so it's been like almost a month since i've posted...just haven't had anything interesting to post about. went out to champion's tonight, jason came out too. i had a lot of fun! played pool for a while with my old friend michelle and her man that she met in oregon (she goes to school there). stayed there a lot later than i thought i would but i got to sing 4 songs so that was cool. school's been hectic, this semester is gonna be tough. especially biochemistry. it's gonna be a bitch, a lot of memorization and stuff. delta gamma's going well, i'm feeling much better about it. recruitment is going to be very busy, but it should be fun. and it'll be over in 2 weeks, which is even better! :) so anyways, i guess that's all that i have to say. like i said, not very exciting. oh well, at least i finally posted again! hope everyone has been well.

megan miller (former wolfgang soprano) is visiting from wisconsin (where she goes to grad school)! she, lepeintre, and i went out to jillian's around 11 or so...we played pool for several hours, mainly just taking turns hitting the ball in, but it was lots of fun! it was GREAT to see megan (whom i haven't seen since like christmas of last year or something!) amd of course it's always good to see alan! :)

anyways, classes have started, and this semester is going to take all of the time that i have. there will be a lot of reading...it's gonna suck. biochemistry will be my hardest course, i think. if you fall behind in that course, you're screwed. so we'll see how it goes.

hopefully i can graduate by taking summer courses next summer, but i guess we'll just have to see...keep your fingers crossed for me! well i guess i should drink some water :) and head to bed now. i hope everyone has a great weekend!

my week has been very long. it has been work week with DG and, though parts of it have been fun, parts of it have also been very stressful. i am now in charge of teaching everyone songs since heather has left the sorority. that has been frustrating cause i don't feel like a lot of the girls cared at all. but, like lovestories said, in a group of 74 girls, you can't please everyone...

this week i have gotten to know several of my sisters better and found out that there are so many interesting and fun people in the group. i'm so glad that i've gotten to know more girls! i'm feeling better about this year (as far as DG goes) because i'm starting to feel more like a part of the group, so that is good.

jason is taking the mcats tomorrow morning and then he'll be up here to move in on sunday. i'm excited, it'll be nice to see him more than once every few weeks! tonight my mom is coming over to bring me some stuff and my friend from middle school is coming to go to a movie so it should be a fun night. there is a party at the frat house next to DG but i don't think i'll go cause i already had plans with my friend. we'll see though. anyways, dinner is now on it's way so i'm gonna go chill until it gets here.

aw how cute. last few days have been good. yesterday erin (roommate from last year) came back into town so i hung out with her. went to botulism night at lepeintre and ncschmoo's, erin was there, kris, rotccleo and her friend from washington, mark. he's cool. he and kris together were frickin hilarious!! had some food, friends, drinks, lots o fun. kris drove erin and i home and i left my key with rotccleo to bring my car back from alan's today. but at about 5 o'clock this morning erin realized that her keys and phone were in my car, and she stayed at my place and needed to leave at 7 am. we didn't want to wake anyone up so at like 6 she called a cab and we took a cab over to alan's to get my car and her keys. i hadn't slept well in the 5 hours i was in bed before we had to go get my car, so i came back and crash at like 7:30. ended up sleeping til about 1:30. and i really should be in bed right now so that i don't sleep late tomorrow. oh well:) this afternoon, rotccleo and mark came over, we went to the pool, had some fun. like rotccleo said, there was the reincarnation of bob marley there, so he said. he also said that his brother was the reincarnation of jim morrison, the greatest pope to ever live, according to him of course. he also proceeded to tell us that he was in a band and he sang some for us (all on his accord) and he couldn't sing worth a crap. basically, he was a psycho. so anyways, went with rotccleo and mark to two guys, then went to my dad's for a late dinner. had london broil and salmon, mmmm...good stuff. now i'm redoing my nails and then going to bed. hope everyone has had a good week!
